In 2022, Megaworld entrusted Crystal Blue Enterprises Inc. to take over and rehabilitate the existing dancing fountain at Festive Walk Iloilo.
This was not simply a matter of replacing equipment.
Before actual installation could begin, extensive study, planning, engineering, and system design had to be undertaken. Every detail had to be carefully considered to develop the right solution for the existing fountain.
One of the biggest challenges was Megaworld’s requirement to rehabilitate and modernize the fountain without excavation.
Removing the existing granite stones would have been disruptive to mall operations, visually intrusive for visitors, and costly due to the value and limited availability of the original materials.
After months of careful study and engineering design, Crystal Blue developed a solution that allowed the fountain to be rehabilitated while preserving the existing structure and architectural character.
In specialized projects like this, the lowest price does not always mean the best long-term value.
Many contractors may be able to offer a lower initial cost, but only a few have the specialized experience to study, plan, design, execute, troubleshoot, and continue supporting a complex water-feature system after installation.
